Grandma’s Place is owned and operated by a local family, with Judy Hawkins as the centre’s Director. Judy has over 30 year’s primary school teaching experience (and yes, she is also a Grandma!). Judy’s daughter Jane Bobbermein (mum of 4 year old twins) is the centre’s Manager. Together with their husbands Dennis Hawkins and Victor Bobbermein, this family is the founder of Grandma’s Place.

Being a family-owned childcare centre, Grandma’s Place focus is less corporate and more family friendly. Quality care for children has been our highest priority throughout planning, and we’ve drawn from international best practice to develop the right centre for Sarina.

Sarina has a wonderful sense of community and Grandma’s Place looks forward to being part of, and contributing to, that social fabric. We know that many families are new to the Sarina district with no family support, and we look forward to supporting your family.
